Fifth-generation DM oil consumption reduced by 2.6L, BYD's OTA priority push for Qin L/HiPhi 06 DM-i
Phoenix Net Technology News August 8th, BYD released the fifth-generation DM technology upgrade user Q&A, including when to implement OTA, whether manual familiarity strategy is required, and whether there are plans for OTA on four-generation DM vehicles.
The official announced that currently, BYD's fifth-generation DM technology has achieved NEDC oil consumption of 2.6L per hundred kilometers, and the upgraded strategy can be implemented through OTA, which will prioritize pushing updates to users with the largest user base, including Qin L DM-i and HiPhi 06 DM-i, followed by other five-generation DM vehicles.
Furthermore, after the upgrade, the strategy will automatically take effect, default on, without requiring users to deliberately adjust their driving habits.
