New Stone Autonomous Vehicle Deploys Over 7,500 Units, Capturing Over 70% of Orders from Platforms Such as JD.com, ZTO Express, and J&T Express
BEIJING, Aug. 5 (Reporter Zhao Wenqi) - New Stone, a commercial autonomous vehicle company, announced today that by the end of July, its autonomous vehicles have been deployed in 15 countries and regions, over 280 cities worldwide, exceeding 7,500 units, with L4-level autonomous driving mileage surpassing 42 million kilometers. It is expected to become the world's first L4-level autonomous vehicle fleet with over 10,000 units by the end of this year.
New Stone also revealed that it has become the largest supplier in the autonomous vehicle sector for companies such as SF Express, JD.com, and China Post, capturing over 90% of their autonomous delivery vehicle orders. It has captured over 70% of orders from platforms such as ZTO Express, J&T Express, etc.
Beyond the logistics scenario, New Stone is exploring the instant scheduling logistics market. In July this year, New Stone reached a cooperation with Didi Chuxing's delivery arm, Didi Jiguang. On platforms such as Didi in cities like Qingdao, users can call for New Stone's autonomous vehicles with just one click and pay according to the service mileage.
