Geely Automobile 2025 First Half Yearly Report: Net Income of CNY 1503 Billion, Gross Margin of 16.4%
August 14th, Geely Automobile announced its mid-year performance report for 2025.
In the first half year, Geely Automobile achieved a net income of CNY 1503 billion, a growth of 27% compared to the same period last year; realized a net profit attributable to shareholders of CNY 92.9 billion, excluding non-core gains and after deducting foreign exchange settlement losses, and achieved a core net profit of CNY 66.6 billion, an increase of 102%; saw an overall revenue of CNY 247 billion, with a gross margin rate of 16.4%; and maintained a steady rise in total cash to CNY 588 billion.
In the first half year, Geely Automobile sold a cumulative total of 140.9 million vehicles, up by 47% compared to the same period last year; its market share broke through the threshold of 10% for the first time. Among them, new energy vehicle sales reached 72.5 million units, up by 126%, and export sales exceeded 1.8 million units.
In terms of new energy vehicle business, Geely's "Galaxy" series sold approximately 54.8 million units in the first half year, up by 232% compared to the same period last year; as of July, cumulative sales reached over 120 million units. The Lixiang brand also performed well, with a total of approximately 15.41 million units sold in the first half year, up by 22%. The "Extreme" brand's performance was slightly sluggish, with sales reaching over 9 million units, up by 3.26%, and only completing 28.36% of its annual target of 32 million units.
