Glorious August 7th | U.S. President Trump stated locally that Apple would invest an additional $1 trillion in the US, making its total investment over four years reach $6 trillion. Trump and Apple's CEO Tim Cook jointly announced this new investment commitment at the White House, calling it "Apple's largest investment in the US to date". At a press conference held at the White House, Cook also presented Trump with a special gift: a unique glass piece produced by Corning Incorporated, manufacturer of iPhone glass, mounted on a 24K gold base. This round glass features Apple's logo and Trump's name engraved at the top.
