Prisma Health invested $50 million, including the purchase of ZI Medical's Varian Medical Systems' Ethos adaptive radiation therapy system. The adaptive radiation therapy system uses artificial intelligence technology-driven treatment and planning processes that can respond in real-time to patients' tumors and anatomical changes while maximizing healthy tissue protection, providing more precise and personalized services to cancer patients.
In 2021, ZI Medical and Prisma Health established a 10-year value-based partnership dedicated to enhancing medical service quality, driving innovation, and cultivating local medical talent. This deepened cooperation will integrate next-generation technologies, clinical tumorology, and professional medical services, introducing new tools and optimizing workflows. The goal of the deepened value-based partnership is to provide more personalized, efficient, and accessible medical services to the community served by Prisma Health.
