A-Share Midday Report: Major Indices Dip, North Index Rises, Solar and Innovative Pharmaceutical Sectors Thrive!

As of August 1st, the major indices slightly dipped, while the North Index rose. The solar and innovative pharmaceutical sectors were particularly strong in the morning session, with Jiexin Wei Chuang (300724) and Shuangliang Jianshi (600481) both hitting their daily limits. In the innovative pharmaceutical sector, Vigor Medical Company rose by 20cm to hit its daily limit, while New Heaven Pharmaceutical (002873) and Anguo Kangsheng (002940) also rose to their daily limits. In the logistics sector, Shentong Express (002468) rose by 10.21% to its daily limit.

The Shenzhen Stock Exchange's main index, the Shenzhen Component Index, also dipped by 0.24% to close at 13,443.45 points.

The commission has also warned investors to be cautious and not to make rash decisions based on short-term fluctuations.
