Strike the 13th CSEAC! Multiple listed companies participate, Zhongwei Company showcases six new equipment
September 4th, the 13th China Semiconductor Equipment and Materials Exhibition (CSEAC 2025) and the 13th China Electronic Special Equipment Industrial Association China Semiconductor Equipment Yearly Meeting opened at the Wuxi Taihu International Convention Center.
According to reports, this year's exhibition will last for three days, with the theme "Strengthening Chinese Chips and Embracing the World", attracting 23 countries and regions from around the world, with a total of over 40% more exhibitors than last year.
According to preliminary statistics by Time Weekly, over 30 listed companies, including Beijing Hua-Cheng (002371.SZ), Zhongwei Company (688012.SH), and Shengmei Shanghai (688082.SH), participated in the exhibition. Among them, Zhongwei Company announced the release of six new semiconductor equipment products, covering technologies such as etching and atomic layer deposition.
The total number of exhibitors exceeded 1130, with a growth rate of over 40%, including international exhibitors exceeding 200, with an estimated attendance of over 80,000 people.
Compared to previous years, this year's exhibition has several new features.
One of the main features is that more companies are showcasing their new products and solutions in areas such as semiconductor equipment and components.
Tianjin Xinxing Technology (688072.SH) exhibition staff told Time Weekly reporters that the company brought many new products to the exhibition, including a 12-inch etching device with enhanced chemical gas deposition technology and a crystal circle laser cutting device.
She said, "Industry insiders are familiar with our mature products, so we hope each time to show different products. The products on display all have high market share, and the specific data can be referred to in the company's financial reports, which provide detailed introductions."
Another new feature is the "IC Elite Lecture Hall", focusing on three major core tracks of the semiconductor industry: AI computing clusters, advanced process detection, and thermal management materials, exploring the future direction of the semiconductor industry over the next decade.
According to reports, this year's "IC Elite Lecture Hall" invited seven experts and scholars in the field of semiconductor specialization as guest speakers.
In the AI computing cluster track, US CONEC Asia-Pacific business development manager Sun Cheng'en pointed out that the current development of AI data centers is facing three major "high walls": calculation power, communication, and memory. These challenges have become key bottlenecks restricting the training and application of large-scale AI models.
In the advanced encapsulation detection area, Nanjing Zhong'an Semiconductor Equipment Co., Ltd. Vice President Xin Dongqiang emphasized that in the field of advanced chip manufacturing, micro-particles may cause serious defects, especially those smaller than 15 nanometers. The development of particle detection equipment is a systematic engineering task requiring optimization and coordination of multiple subsystems.
Another innovation point this year is cultivating practical semiconductor talents.
According to reports, this year's exhibition attracted over 30 well-known universities and more than 100 companies to participate in the on-site matching plan with schools and enterprises.
Time Weekly reporters found that many exhibitors directly displayed recruitment positions at the exhibition site, covering positions such as process research and development, equipment manufacturing, software design, and other industries along the entire value chain.
Beijing Hua-Cheng recruited staff told Time Weekly reporters that on September 5th, the company received over a hundred resumes, saying "It's a thick pile of paper, and we've already counted them," with most coming from local universities such as Jiangnan University and Southeast University. In terms of social recruitment, she said that the company had already interviewed some candidates on September 4th afternoon, with more positions available for research and development.
It's worth noting that at the opening ceremony of the China Semiconductor Equipment Yearly Meeting, the first "China Chip AI Video" premiered globally. The video takes viewers through time and space, reviewing the struggles of the Chinese semiconductor equipment industry from its inception to its growth.
Over 30 listed companies participated in the exhibition.
