China Automobile Dealers Association: January-September New Energy Commercial Vehicle Sales Reach 597,200 Units, Up 57.17% Year-on-Year
According to data provided by the China Automobile Dealers Association's commercial vehicle professional committee, a total of 944,000 new energy commercial vehicles were sold in September 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 73.01% and a month-on-month increase of 28.56%. Pure electric commercial vehicles accounted for 97.08% of the sales, with a total of 916,000 units sold, representing a year-on-year increase of 73.94%.
From a type perspective, the sales of new energy trucks reached 548,000 units, accounting for 58.12%, and showed a year-on-year increase of 95.52% and a month-on-month increase of 16.03%. The sales of new energy buses reached 395,000 units, accounting for 41.88%, and showed a year-on-year increase of 49.18% and a month-on-month increase of 51.22%.
From the perspective of enterprises/brands, the top 5 enterprises/brands accounted for 37.35%, with BYD Long-Range, Foton Motors, SAIC Maxus, Xugong Automobile and Changan Automobile being the top 5.

From a type perspective, the cumulative sales of new energy trucks reached 371,900 units, accounting for 62.28%, and showed a year-on-year increase of 96.66%. The cumulative sales of new energy buses reached 225,300 units, accounting for 37.72%, and showed a year-on-year increase of 18.04%.
From the perspective of enterprises/brands, the top 5 enterprises/brands accounted for 37.54%, with BYD Long-Range, Foton Motors, SAIC Maxus, Xugong Automobile and Kawei Automobile being the top 5.
