Gelong Daily, August 15th | A-shares' three major indices started low and rose high today, with the Shanghai Composite rising 0.83% to close at 3696 points, the Shenzhen Component Index rising 1.6% to a new high this year, and the ChiNext Index rising 2.61% to a new high this year. The total trading volume was 22.7 trillion yuan, down 33.4 billion from yesterday's transaction, marking the third consecutive day with over 20 trillion yuan in trading. More than 4600 stocks rose today.
On the market, the liquid cooling concept exploded, with over a dozen stocks including Ouluntong and Chuanring Technology stopping at their limits. The PEEK material sector rose high, with Internationals Materials Co., Ltd. rising 20% to stop at its limit. The PCB and electronic components sectors surged, with Zhongfu Circuit, Shenyan Technology, and Fangzheng Technology among many stocks that stopped at their limits. Brokerage concepts rallied in the afternoon, with Changcheng Securities, Tianfeng Securities, and others stopping at their limits. Other top-performing sectors included glass, virtual robots, electronic chemicals, and wind power equipment. On the other hand, bank stocks fell sharply, with China Banking Corporation, Minsheng Bank, and Guangda Bank among many stocks that fell over 2%. (Gelong Daily)
