August 14th Opening! BYD Zhenzhou Racing Track Has Arrived
【Big River Finance Reporter Ding Yangtang Written by Ranheng Photography】 Following the launch of the first "Di Space" in Zhengzhou last year, the second BYD racing track is set to open in Zhengzhou.
On August 11th, Big River Finance reporter visited the BYD racing track located at the Zhengzhou Aviation Port Zone, where they heard the sound of car engines and saw cars drifting around. According to reports, in 2024, BYD announced that it would invest 50 billion yuan to build a global first batch of off-road professional racing tracks. Currently, the BYD Hefei Racing Track has been put into use, and the Zhengzhou Racing Track will open on August 14th, which is BYD's second opening.
Zhengzhou Racing Track Special Sand Dune Experience
Outside the racing track, Big River Finance reporter saw workers busy with emergency construction outside the periphery to ensure the racing track can receive visitors in a better state. Inside the perimeter wall, employees of China Mobile were testing network signals: "It's about to open, and we've heard that many people will come to experience it. We're here to provide communication support."
Through unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) photography, the reporter discovered that cars were racing and stunt drivers were demonstrating drift techniques on the track. On August 10th, BYD Group's brand and public relations department general manager Li Yunfei published a short video called "BYD Racing Track Pre-Opening Brush Circle" on social media. Li Yunfei said he would experience the Zhengzhou BYD Racing Track circuit on opening day and expressed hope to get a good score.
The racing track has traditional race tracks, including straight tracks and curved tracks, as well as off-road areas, floating areas, sandy areas, and camping areas, offering multi-dimensional experience spaces for different types of vehicles in various conditions.
The sand dune area stands out from the entire racing track, with a car running along the slope. According to reports, this is the Zhengzhou Racing Track's special sand dune experience, simulating the experience of cars driving through sand but with a certain risk due to its steep slope and high altitude.
It is understood that the BYD Hefei Racing Track, located in Hefei Longqing County, is the world's first comprehensive testing field dedicated to new energy vehicles. The racing track consists of a comprehensive building and six functional areas. Reporters at the Zhengzhou Racing Track also saw similar functional zones, with insiders revealing that the comprehensive building has exhibition halls on the second floor, mainly showcasing BYD-related introductions, and other floors have report halls, meeting rooms, etc.
Regarding the upcoming opening of the BYD Zhengzhou Racing Track, people are more concerned about whether it can be open to the outside for experience. Big River Finance reporter learned from insiders that the main target audience is non-professional drivers, mainly providing service experiences for new energy vehicle users, allowing more people to experience drifting, floating, and sand driving culture.
