New Energy: Over 20% Replacement of Gasoline Consumption in July
In July, new energy vehicle sales reached 1.036 million units, up 16.8% year-on-year, according to data from the Ministry of Public Security. As of June, there were 36.89 million registered new energy vehicles nationwide, and based on data models provided by Zhachuang Information, they replaced 3.17 million tons of gasoline consumption, accounting for over 20%. The continuous promotion of two new policies, coupled with rapid development of new energy vehicle technology and improvements in terminal supporting facilities, has maintained a strong momentum for the growth of new energy vehicles, which have made a significant impact on the overall consumption of gasoline. It is estimated that by 2025, new energy vehicles may replace over 23% of gasoline consumption.
