Beijing Upgrades Warning for Landslides and Floods: Risk of Large-Scale Landslides and Floods Expected in 3 Districts

Glorious August 12th | Beijing Municipal Water Affairs Bureau and Beijing Municipal Meteorological Bureau today upgraded the warning for landslides and floods at 11:30 am: it is expected that on August 12th at 11:30 am, the risk of large-scale landslides and floods will be high in the Pinggu District, Miyun District, and Huairou District (yellow alert), with a possibility of smaller-scale landslides and floods occurring in Yanqing District, Changping District, Fangshan District, and Mentougou District (blue alert). The public is advised to stay away from landslide-prone areas and temporarily suspend outdoor activities involving mountains and waterways to prevent the occurrence of landslides and floods.
