Changan Automobile Exceeds 210,000 Units in Sales in July

August 3 evening, under the China Changan Automobile Group's flag, Changan Automobile (000625) released its production and sales report for July. The company's new energy vehicle business continued to gain momentum, with a single-month sales record exceeding 80,000 units.
According to the announcement, in July 2025, Changan Automobile produced 195,900 vehicles, up 34.84% year-on-year; sold 210,600 vehicles, up 23.43% year-on-year. From January to July 2025, the company's cumulative production reached 1.4013 million units, up 1.59% year-on-year; sales volume reached 15.659 million units, up 4.07% year-on-year.
Among them, Changan Automobile's new energy vehicles had a "big explosion" in July, with a single-month production record of 787,000 units, up 91.87% year-on-year; and sales volume exceeding 80,000 units, up 74.05% year-on-year.
As a major event in the automotive industry, China Changan Automobile Group was established on July 29 in Chongqing, becoming China's third state-owned automaker. Immediately after, the group announced its strategic plan, aiming to build a world-class automobile group with global competitiveness and core technology.
Looking at specific targets, by 2030, China Changan Automobile Group aims to achieve an annual production and sales volume of 5 million units, with new energy vehicle sales accounting for over 60%, overseas sales accounting for over 30%, and striving to become a top-10 global automotive brand.
On July 30, Changan Automobile held an investor conference. Company executives said that this year, Changan's independent brand is expected to produce and sell over 30 million units. Next step, Changan Automobile will focus on deep cooperation with the internal industrial chain and build an open innovation ecosystem.
In the first half of the year, Changan Automobile sold a total of 1.355 million units, setting a new high for nearly 8 years; new energy vehicle sales reached 452,000 units, up 49.1% year-on-year. Among them, Avita has continued to break through 10,000 units for four consecutive months; Deep Blue cars have delivered over 500,000 units globally; Changan Q07 has delivered a total of 30,000 units; the CS75 series has sold over 2.8 million units; and Changan Kai Cheng has won the new energy mini-car market sales champion for five consecutive months.
