Chengdu's "Luo Bo Fast" Self-Driving Ride-Hailing Car Carries Passengers into Construction Trench
Phoenix Technology News, August 7th, Multiple netizens have published videos claiming that the "Luo Bo Fast" self-driving ride-hailing car operated by Chengdu Yucheng District fell into a construction trench while in motion. The video shows that part of the vehicle is trapped inside the trench, and the female passenger inside the car was helped to escape with the assistance of working staff and onlookers. As of now, "Luo Bo Fast" has not made any statement regarding this matter.
According to sources, "Luo Bo Fast" is a self-driving ride-hailing service platform developed by Baidu Apollo. On June 10th, 2022, "Luo Bo Fast" officially began operating in Chengdu Yucheng District. As of March 2025, the "Luo Bo Fast" autonomous driving ride-hailing service platform has established over 4,000 stations and operates an area of more than 130 square kilometers in Yucheng.
