China's Computing Capacity Ranks Second Globally
【Grand River Financial Cube Message】August 14, the State Council Information Office held a themed press conference on "High-Quality Completion of the '14th Five-Year Plan' Series", during which Liu Liehong, member of the Communist Party Committee and Director of the National Data Bureau, introduced the achievements of China's digital construction development in the "14th Five-Year Plan" period and answered questions from reporters.
Liu Liehong introduced that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China's digital foundation infrastructure has achieved significant development. China's digital foundation infrastructure is leading the world in terms of scale and technology, with a total of 4.55 million 5G base stations as of June 30, 2025, and over 226 million broadband users, ranking second globally in computing power, which has effectively driven economic and social development.
