Ahead of the market on July 28, Chinese insurance stocks have collectively surged, with New China Life Insurance (601336), PICC Property and Casualty Co., Ltd. (601601), China Life Insurance Company (601628), Ping An Insurance Group Co., Ltd. (601318), and China Reinsurance Company (601319) rising more than 4%, 3%, 2%, and 1.5% respectively. Notably, New China Life Insurance has reached a historic high, PICC Property and Casualty Co., Ltd. has reached its highest level since October 2024, Ping An Insurance Group Co., Ltd. has reached its highest level since November 2024, and China Life Insurance Company has reached its highest level since December 2024.

From the year-to-date cumulative rise, New China Life Insurance has risen more than 33%, PICC Property and Casualty Co., Ltd. has risen more than 18%, Ping An Insurance Group Co., Ltd. has risen more than 16%, China Reinsurance Company has risen more than 15%, and China Life Insurance Company has risen more than 3%.
