China's Trust Fund Completes 0.92% Stake Increase in Bank of China, Eyes Further Growth
Before Bank of China's 50 billion yuan dividend distribution date, China's Trust Fund Asset Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Trust Fund") completed a 0.92% stake increase in the bank.
On July 23rd, Bank of China announced that it had received a notification from China Trust Fund, stating that the latter had increased its stake in the bank's A and H shares by 0.92%, with the holding ratio rising to 8% from 7.08%. Meanwhile, China Trust Fund also simultaneously increased its stake in Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) H shares to 18.02%.
On the market front, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index rose by 0.65% on July 24th, with the banking sector experiencing a slight decline of 1.49%. Bank of China's A and H shares fell by 0.72% and 0.12%, respectively.
