Daily ETF Review | Shanghai Composite Index Rises, Financial Technology Sector Leads the Way, Hua Xia Financial Technology ETF Up Nearly 5%
Grain Financial News August 15th | The A-share market rose across the board, with the Shanghai Composite Index up 0.47%, the Shenzhen Component Index up 1.19%, and the Entrepreneurship Board Index up 2.14%. The top performer was the Northbound 50 Index, which gained 2.74%. Over 4400 stocks rose in value, with a total trading volume of RMB 13272 billion, down from the previous day's RMB 1041 billion.
As for ETFs, the financial technology sector led the way, with Hua Xia Financial Technology ETF, Boshi Fund Financial Technology ETF, and Wahao Fund Financial Technology ETF rising by 4.95%, 4.75%, and 4.43%, respectively. The photovoltaic sector had a big breakout, with Tianhong Fund Photovoltaic ETF, Easy Fund Energy Storage Battery ETF, and Ping An Fund Photovoltaic ETF rising by 4.12%, 4.12%, and 3.91%, respectively.
The securities sector also rose, with Easy Fund Securities ETF and Southern Fund Securities ETF gaining 3.79% and 3.75%, respectively.
Banking stocks plummeted across the board, with bank ETF index, bank ETF, and Easy Fund Bank ETF all falling by 1.8%. Consumer stocks in Hong Kong weakened, with Hong Kong consumer ETF and Hong Kong consumer ETF both losing 1%
