Zhang Yi-Jun stated that in the first half of 2025, the actual sales revenue of the domestic game market reached 1680.00 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.08%, setting a new high. The scale of game users reached nearly 6.79 billion, a year-on-year increase of 0.72%, also a record high.
In the first half of 2025, domestic self-developed games accounted for 1404.52 billion yuan in actual sales revenue, with a year-on-year increase of 19.25%. Overseas sales revenue of self-developed games reached 95.01 billion US dollars, with a year-on-year increase of 11.07%
In the first half of 2025, the distribution of overseas sales revenue of self-developed mobile games by region shows that the United States accounted for 31.96%, Japan accounted for 16.20%, and South Korea accounted for 7.47%. The three countries combined account for a total of 55.63%. In addition, Germany, Britain, and France accounted for a total of 8.78%, with Europe remaining an important region for Chinese game exports.
