Elon Musk's Neuralink Company to Launch Clinical Research in the UK, Testing Thought Control

Phoenix News Technology Report, Beijing time August 1st, according to Reuters, Neuralink, a brain-machine interface company founded by Elon Musk, announced on Thursday that it will launch a clinical research in the UK, testing how its chip can help patients with severe paralysis control digital and physical tools through thought control.
Neuralink posted on X stating that the company is cooperating with the University College London Hospitals Trust and Newcastle Hospital to conduct this research.
Last month, Neuralink raised $6.5 billion in the latest round of funding. After resolving safety concerns with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Neuralink began human trials for its brain-machine interface in 2024. FDA rejected its application in 2022.
