Embracing HarmonyOS Ecosystem, China Merchants Bank Launches New Mobile Banking Service
【River Financial Reporter Qin Long】 As HarmonyOS ecosystem continues to rapidly develop, an increasing number of enterprise users are opting for Huawei's HarmonyOS-powered phones for daily operations and business processing.
July 24th, we learned that China Merchants Bank has been actively investing in R&D efforts to fully adapt its mobile banking services to HarmonyOS. By deeply integrating Huawei's HarmonyOS ecosystem with financial technology advantages, the bank aims to create a secure, efficient, and interconnected mobile financial service for enterprise clients, injecting China Merchants' financial power into the HarmonyOS ecosystem.
As reported, the HarmonyOS-powered enterprise mobile banking system constructs an all-scenario interconnected ecosystem, breaking down device boundaries. Enterprise users no longer need to worry about operation disruptions caused by device changes; after switching to a new HarmonyOS device, account information, operational permissions, and frequently used settings will be securely synchronized, achieving seamless business continuity.
HarmonyOS will deeply fuse "security" with "convenience," redefining the enterprise financial operation experience. The bank introduces an "offline payment" mechanism, eliminating the need for physical keys, allowing users to complete large transactions and confirm trades online with digital certificates, simplifying processes while bolstering security.
Meanwhile, leveraging Huawei's HarmonyOS microkernel architecture and underlying safety advantages, the system will resist risks and vulnerabilities from the bottom up. The bank combines financial-grade data encryption transmission, strict application permission management, and real-time monitoring of abnormal behavior to ensure account information and transaction data are encrypted throughout and never compromised.
A relevant responsible person at China Merchants Bank stated that the bank's enterprise mobile banking service has already completed Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS ecosystem adaptations, focusing on enterprise daily operations core scenarios, forming a one-stop mobile service platform with high-efficiency direct services, precise touch services for special scenarios, and dual-version personalized services.
In the future, China Merchants Bank will leverage the HarmonyOS-powered launch as a springboard to further deepen its "financial + non-financial" ecosystem integration, expanding service boundaries by tapping into HarmonyOS's openness, enriching enterprise treasury scenario services, optimizing intelligent operation experiences, and providing more personalized digital financial services for enterprises, helping them grow steadily in the digital wave.
