Firm in Adversity, Love in Finance | Xiamen International Bank Beijing Branch Rushes to Help Miyun Flood Relief
Recently, strong rainfall hit Beijing's Miyun District, causing secondary disasters such as landslides and debris flows in some areas. Many villages' roads, electricity, and communication systems were paralyzed. The disaster situation moved people's hearts, and Xiamen International Bank's Beijing Branch responded quickly to the call for help, actively conducting material support and charitable assistance, using actual actions to ease the worries of affected communities.
Miyun District's Shicheng Town Zhangjiafen Village is adjacent to a mountain slope. The strong rainfall triggered landslides, causing large amounts of mud and stone to flow into the village, partially destroying some houses, disrupting roads, and seriously affecting villagers' normal lives. After learning about the situation, Xiamen International Bank's Beijing Branch proactively contacted Zhangjiafen Village, understood people's living needs, urgently collected bottled water and other essential materials, and arranged personnel to drive over 100 kilometers to deliver aid to the disaster area.
Synchronously, Xiamen International Bank's Beijing Branch launched a support initiative for employees, with party members and cadres leading the way. Many employees responded enthusiastically, donating to organizations such as the Red Cross in Miyun District, gathering love and warmth for flood relief.
"Serving communities, giving back to society" is the responsibility that Xiamen International Bank's Beijing Branch has consistently upheld. Regardless of how the weather changes, Xiamen International Bank's Beijing Branch will continue to pay close attention to disaster developments and local needs, throwing its full weight into flood relief and social security work, working hand in hand with affected areas to build a "financial dike" for flood prevention.
