From Lab to Life Scenarios: 2025 World Robot Exhibition Unveils Intelligent Breakthroughs
China Economic Net, Beijing, August 13th - (Reporter Wei Jinjin) The 2025 World Robot Exhibition, themed "Let Robots be Smarter and Human Bodies be More Intelligent", was held in Beijing from August 8-12. During the event, over a hundred new robot products were showcased, demonstrating the strong momentum of China's intelligent robotics industry development, attracting numerous visitors to witness, learn, and experience.
In 2025, "Intelligent Robotics" was written into government work reports for the first time. Currently, AI big models are collaborating with robots and human bodies, becoming the core driving force behind the next wave of technological competition. China has established national-local collaborative robot innovation centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, and other regions, providing strong support for industry development.
Data shows that compared to the previous exhibition, this year's humanoid robots saw an increase from 27 companies to 50, with robot exhibits rising from over 600 to over 1,500 items, and new products increasing from 60 to over 100 items.
At the exhibition site, the applications of intelligent robots continued to expand, covering industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, retail, home services, etc. From making coffee, frying doughnuts, folding clothes, giving massages, to playing chess, and performing tasks like power line inspection, parts sorting, and quality control, robot intelligence and physical flexibility have significantly improved, with brain-eye-action coordination systems reaching a higher level. These innovative achievements not only showcased technological progress but also painted a blueprint for the infinite possibilities of intelligent life in the future.
