Hebei Administrative Villages Achieve 93% 5G Coverage Rate Ahead of Schedule

Viewpoint News: On August 14, Hebei Provincial Communications Administration released data showing that by the end of June 2025, the province's administrative villages had achieved a 5G network coverage rate of 93%, ahead of schedule to achieve the goal of "Rural-Rural 5G", with a significant improvement in network capabilities.

Over the past ten years, Hebei has accumulated a total of 24.23 million rural broadband access ports, ranking fifth nationwide; during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, it will continue to promote the construction of "Dual-Thousand-Bit" networks, with rural broadband users increasing from 4.259 million households in 2015 to 14.92 million households, an increase of 250.3%, ranking third in the country.
