Henan Province's 2025 Industry Skills Competition Sets Up Carbon Emission Administrator Event for First Time
【Dahai Financial Cube Reporter Zhang Kexiang】 August 11, the 2025 Henan Province Industrial Skills Competition – Henan Province's Industry and Information Technology Skills Competition has officially opened registration today. Dahai Financial Cube reporter learned from Henan Province's Industrial and Information Technology Department that the carbon emission administrator event is set up for the first time in Henan.
This competition is jointly hosted by Henan Province's Industrial and Information Technology Department, Human Resources and Social Security Department, All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and Ministry of General Affairs. A total of four events will be set up, including carbon emission administrator, multi-process CNC machine tool adjustment operator, electric equipment installation worker, and electronic device assembly worker.
According to the rules of the carbon emission administrator event, this event is a skills competition focusing on green manufacturing, based on carbon emission accounting, aiming to build a professional, fair, and high-level carbon emission management skills platform. Through theoretical and practical combination, it will precisely select top talent in the field of carbon emission management and set up skill standards for the industry, promoting the development of carbon emission management talent teams towards professionalism and refinement.
"The carbon emission administrator event in this competition should be the first time a provincial-level skills competition has established such an event," said Chen Kaichen, member of the organizing committee and chairman of Henan Province's Energy Efficiency Technology Association. This event will be divided into student groups and worker groups, allowing the whole society to pay more attention to carbon emission control work.
The carbon emission administrator event requires contestants to have a certain theoretical foundation knowledge, including relevant policies, regulations, standards, and principles of carbon emission accounting. Contestants must also have the ability to perform carbon emission accounting and auditing within a given timeframe, using provided project information to collect and sort data, apply carbon emission accounting methods, and analyze carbon emissions.
The registration deadline for this competition is September 5, 2025. Eligible participants include in-service staff with relevant work experience, teachers from higher vocational schools and technical colleges related to the event's profession, as well as full-time students and government employees in the energy conservation sector.
The competition will take place on September 25-27, 2025, at Henan Institute of Electrical Engineering.
