HiCar H5 Unveils Official Images: Nine-Layer Five-Lateral Structure, Over 88% High-Strength Steel and Aluminum Alloy
Phoenix News Tech, August 22nd, Huawei HiCar's official WeChat account released detailed information about the body structure of HiCar H5, along with official images. According to the introduction, the new car is built with a nine-layer five-lateral super-strong body structure, with over 88% high-strength steel and aluminum alloy, fully reinforcing key areas: the front bumpers cover 74.8%, rear bumpers cover 73.6%, and the side door threshold protection is further strengthened.
The car will officially go on pre-order on August 25th. As Huawei's first collaborative model with SAIC, HiCar H5 will come equipped with HUAWEI ADS 4 driving assistance system and will be available in pure electric and extended-range versions, set to hit the market in September.
Sources indicate that the new car is positioned in the price range of 15-25 thousand yuan, making it Huawei's most affordable model. The car is based on SAIC's Roewe ES39 platform and features Huawei's intelligent cabin and driving system, with a pure electric platform developed by SAIC.
