Hong Kong Broadband: China Mobile Agrees to Acquire Approximately 14.44% Stake in Company for HK$1,083,868,242.28 per Share
Glo Hong Kong August 4 | Hong Kong Broadband announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it has entered into a share purchase agreement with China Mobile Hong Kong Limited and Twin Holding Ltd (the seller) on August 4, 2025. Pursuant to this agreement, the seller has agreed to sell, and the buyer has agreed to purchase, approximately 213,570,097 shares of the company (representing about 14.44% of the company's issued share capital as at the announcement date), for a total consideration equal to the purchase price per share, which is HK$5.075, totaling HK$1,083,868,242.28. Assuming that there has been no change in the company's issued share capital as at the announcement date or subsequently, upon completion: the seller will continue to hold approximately 15,057,354 shares of the company (representing about 1.02% of the company's issued share capital as at completion), and the buyer will hold a total of approximately 442,197,548 shares of the company (representing about 29.90% of the company's issued share capital as at completion).
