Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS Exceeds 1 Million Units
Phoenix Technology News, August 12, Huawei's intelligent automotive solutions BU CEO Yu Zhijie announced on Weibo that the number of cars equipped with Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS has officially surpassed 1 million.
Currently, most of the domestic automakers have chosen to cooperate with Huawei's Qiankun, exceeding 22 partnerships that cover over 80% of the country's automakers. Well-known brands such as Audi, Lantu, Mingshi, and Shenlan are included. More than 22 models of mass-produced vehicles are available, with a price range spanning from ¥15,000 to hundreds of thousands, covering sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and off-road vehicles.
According to sources, Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS has undergone three generations of commercial development. In 2022, the ADS 1 was released, achieving commercialization of urban intelligent driving assistance NCA; in 2023, the ADS 2 was launched, introducing the industry's first "all-around active safety" feature with nationwide capabilities; and in 2024, the ADS 3 was released, featuring the industry's first car-to-car functionality. The latest generation, Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 4, has undergone a comprehensive upgrade from technical architecture to user experience, which will be rolled out to users starting September.
