Huawei WatchGT 5 Series Upgrades to HarmonyOS 5.1: Adds Sleep Monitoring, Health Summary and More
Phoenix Network Tech News August 6th, Huawei announced that the Huawei WatchGT 5 series smartwatch has been upgraded to HarmonyOS 5.1, which provides a brand new star ring desktop and watch face, while adding memo, health summary, and sleep average HRV functions.
After upgrading the watch, it supports a brand new star ring desktop, with the top scrolling function allowing users to switch between application names and large icons; when rotating the watch crown or sliding the screen, the functional icon will flow like a celestial body; users can freely switch between star ring, chessboard, and list three desktop styles.
The new health summary app tracks sleep, heart health, stress, exercise, and other health trends, intelligently extracting key information for users and generating a health summary with comprehensive analysis and personalized recommendations. The memo app allows users to quickly record audio notes.
Additionally, the new sleep average HRV monitoring index can identify user physical fatigue levels, stress status, and monitor heart rate, breathing rate, blood oxygen data during sleep, generating a baseline for physiological indicators and providing health tips.
This update will be pushed in batches; after receiving the push notification, users can go to the watch settings, system updates, software updates, and check for updates to perform the upgrade. After upgrading, you need to use the latest version of the sports health app on your phone.
