Meta Robot Collaborates with Fu Lin Precision on Million-Level Cooperation Project, Aiming for Large-Scale Applications

Meta Robot announced that it has reached a cooperation agreement with Fu Lin Precision Co., Ltd. worth hundreds of millions of yuan, with nearly a hundred Meta Robot A2-W to be deployed in Fu Lin Precision's factory. This is the first industrial-scale commercial contract for Meta Robot in China and globally, marking the first large-scale deployment of this type of robot in the global smart manufacturing scenario.
According to reports, the first batch of Meta Robot A2-W was successfully deployed on Fu Lin Precision's production line in July 2025 and completed industrial standardization tasks. The robot can handle 1000 boxes per hour and meet the monthly production needs of a single production line. This deployment has achieved a breakthrough from "single-factory pilot testing" to "multi-factory comprehensive coverage," expanding the scope of operation from 2 production lines to 15 material points in the power transmission and gear departments, handling over 500 tons of raw materials per day, and performing automated return-to-origin tasks.
This cooperation has built a deep collaborative system combining "robot + AMR": Meta Robot A2-W is responsible for multiple-level material handling and box transfer, while AMR takes care of heavy-duty transportation within the workshop. Leveraging smart scheduling and dynamic call-out mechanisms, this project realizes end-to-end workflow operations from material pickup to box return, solving the traditional automation equipment's flexibility adaptation pain points in various scenarios.
It is understood that Meta Robot A2-W, released by Meta Robot on August 18th, 2024, is a flexible intelligent manufacturing robot belonging to the Meta Series of commercial humanoid robots. This robot features over 40 degrees of freedom and human-like hands to simulate complex actions, with core technologies including dual-arm collaboration, full-body reachability, high-efficiency deployment, and flexible work.
The large-scale application of Meta Robot A2-W is attributed to three key technological breakthroughs: a multi-modal sensing system ensuring safe human-robot collaboration; dual-arm coordination with high-precision operation modules adapting to different box types; and autonomous error correction algorithms ensuring self-recovery in case of unexpected events.
Fu Lin Precision's Engineering Department Director, Deng Yang, said that Meta Robot A2-W has exceeded expectations on the production line, with zero faults and anti-interference capabilities superior to traditional equipment. This robot can replace manual labor for repetitive tasks, helping to reshape manufacturing industry production modes.
