Gelon News August 12|According to CCTV, the 11th typhoon of the year, "Yangliu" (strong tropical storm level), located about 670 kilometers east-southeast of Taiwan's Taitung City at 11:00 am on August 12. It is expected that "Yangliu" will land along the coast of Taiwan around midday on August 13 and again in southern Fujian and eastern Guangdong areas around midnight to early morning on August 14 (strong tropical storm level to typhoon level). As a result, there will be heavy rain to torrential rain from August 12 to 15 in Fujian, Guangdong, and other affected regions. According to the "National Flood Control and Drought Relief Emergency Response Plan" and relevant regulations, the National Emergency Response Center decided at 13:00 on August 12 to activate Tier 4 flood and typhoon alert for Fujian and Guangdong, and dispatch a working group to assist in guiding operations in Guangdong.
