Newly Added Companies in the Field of Humanoid Robots Reach 105! Investment Drives Production

On July 30, data released by Qichacha showed that a total of 105 new humanoid robot-related companies were added in the first half of this year, representing a year-on-year increase of 183.78%, exceeding the total number of registered companies in the same category last year.
Domestic humanoid robots have become one of the focal points of the capital market, with many companies involved in intelligent body and robotics fields receiving investments.
In July alone, JD.com invested in three humanoid robot companies, Utree Technology launched its IPO guidance valued at RMB 12 billion, and Zhimen Robot used RMB 210 million to control Shang Wei New Materials' capital operations, reflecting the industry's desire for listing channels.
On July 30, Giant Legend announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Xingchu Art (Kunshan) Cultural Development Co., Ltd., had signed a cooperation agreement with Hangzhou Utree Technology Co., Ltd.
At the 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference held in Shanghai recently, over 150 humanoid robots gathered to showcase their capabilities, becoming the largest-scale gathering of humanoid robots in China.
Data released by Qichacha shows that in the past three years, the domestic humanoid robot industry has seen a steady increase in investment. In 2023, there were 51 new companies added to this category nationwide, representing a year-on-year increase of about 50%; in 2024, there were 104 such companies registered, representing a year-on-year increase of approximately 103.92%. This year's first half has seen over 100 new companies register, exceeding last year's total number and demonstrating the industry's investment enthusiasm and company expansion speed.
Looking at the current development status of the industry, as of July's end, there were already 834 humanoid robot-related companies in China, with a clear regional concentration pattern. The eastern region accounted for 43.53%, the southern region accounted for 23.86%, followed by the northern, southwestern, and central regions.
In terms of registered capital distribution, over 60% of the humanoid robot-related companies in China have registered capital exceeding RMB 5 million. Specifically, companies with registered capital between RMB 5000 and RMB 10000 account for 30.3%, while those with registered capital between RMB 1 million and RMB 5000 account for 24.73%.
