No Fee for Highway Towing and Recovery Services Starting September 1st in Jiangsu Province
【Yangtze River Financial News】August 14th, the Development and Reform Commission of Jiangsu Province released a notice on vehicle rescue service fees.
The notice states that in order to further promote efficient transportation systems, continuously improve vehicle rescue services, and enhance public satisfaction and sense of gain, it is decided to waive towing and recovery fees for highway vehicle rescue services starting September 1st, 2025.
For ordinary roads and urban road vehicle rescue services, market-oriented pricing will be implemented, with prices determined by the parties involved. The tolls for rescued vehicles parked on the roadside will be in accordance with relevant regulations of local price management departments.

To further promote efficient transportation systems, continuously improve vehicle rescue services, and enhance public satisfaction and sense of gain, it is decided to waive towing and recovery fees for highway vehicle rescue services starting September 1st, 2025. Vehicle rescue service fees related details are as follows:
One: Highway vehicle rescue services will be organized and implemented by highway operating management units, with the main responsibility of their established professional rescue teams. In necessary cases, highway operating management units can entrust qualified social rescue agencies to provide rescue services.
Two: Highway operating management units should establish a rapid clearance mechanism, dispatching nearby rescue agencies upon receiving emergency information, and implementing rescue services according to national and provincial regulations.
