NVIDIA's 800V Architecture Suppliers Revealed: Innovaseek Becomes China's Only Chipmaker to Qualify
Innovaseek (02577) surged 30.68% in the morning, closing at HK$57.50 with a turnover of HK$3.81 billion.
On August 1st, NVIDIA updated its list of partners for its 800V direct current power architecture, with Innovaseek being the only Chinese chipmaker to qualify as a partner. This marks a formal deep collaboration between the two parties, who will work together to drive the adoption of 800V DC power architecture in AI data centers. The partnership is expected to increase single-machine processing density by over 10 times, enabling power densities above 300kW per rack and propelling global AI data centers into the era of megawatt-scale power supply.
Notably, Innovaseek recently announced the completion of a new H-share placement of 135.8 million shares at HK$40.50 per share, raising gross proceeds of HK$5.43 billion. Rich Research's report states that this fund-raising will help Innovaseek resolve its anticipated financing gap of around USD 50 million in 2027. As of now, the company is expected to spend HK$570 million on capital expenditures this year and HK$1.4 billion next year, which should enable it to enter China's electric vehicle supply chain by the second half of this year and accelerate capacity expansion to support its business growth, ensuring stable supplies and boosting confidence among downstream clients like electric vehicle manufacturers adopting nitrogen-phosphorus-gallium technology.
