Rainfall Forecast: Henan Province Expected to See Relief from Drought This Week!
格隆汇 August 5th | According to the National Meteorological Bureau, high temperatures prevailed across most of Henan Province in July, with rainfall persistently below normal. Notably, areas such as Zhumadian, Zhoukou, and Nanyang experienced prolonged drought, attracting widespread attention. The meteorological department predicts that before August 5th, Henan Province will continue to experience high temperatures, with the highest temperature exceeding 37°C across most of the province, reaching around 40°C in some northern regions; from August 6th to 13th, multiple convective precipitation events are expected, with weak points strengthened. In areas such as Zhumadian, Luohe, Nanyang, and Zhoukou, it is predicted that before August 13th, there will be clear skies with little rain, with scattered showers or thunderstorms in some localities. Among these, before August 5th, the highest temperature is expected to range from 37°C to 39°C; from August 6th to 7th, light to moderate precipitation and thunderstorms are predicted. From August 8th to 9th, moderate to heavy rainfall and localized torrential rains are expected. Two rounds of rainfall will help alleviate Henan's drought.
