As reported by RIA Novosti, Putin flew to the Far East region of Magadan Province before meeting with Trump. Russian Presidential Press Secretary Peskov said that Putin would visit local industrial enterprises and meet with the governor of the province. Putin plans to stay for several hours in Magadan Province before flying to Anchorage.
