Shenzhen City Flash Flood Warning Signal Upgraded to Orange, Affecting Zhujiangkou, Bao'an District (Shixiang, Fuyong, Xixiang, Xin'an, Hangcheng Streets) and Guangming District (Guangming, Yutang, Xinhua, Fenghuang Streets)
Glorious 8 August | According to Shenzhen Release, within the past 3 hours, Zhujiangkou, Bao'an District (Shixiang, Fuyong, Xixiang, Xin'an, Hangcheng Streets) and Guangming District (Guangming, Yutang, Xinhua, Fenghuang Streets) have experienced heavy rainfall. It is estimated that within the next 1-2 hours, there will be a further 30-40mm of precipitation. At 10:55 am on August 6, 2025, Shenzhen City Meteorological Observatory upgraded the yellow flood warning signal to orange in the aforementioned areas, and the entire city enters a state of flood defense, please stay away from low-lying areas prone to flooding, mountainous areas with higher risk of landslides, floods, and rockfalls. Note that localised internal flooding, landslides, mudflows, etc. may be triggered by heavy rainfall.
