By type, foreign investors net bought $24 billion worth of South Korean stocks, while also net buying $24.3 billion worth of South Korean bonds.
The Central Bank noted that although the scale of net inflows in July was slightly lower than the $50.8 billion recorded in June, it has still seen three consecutive months of net inflows since May.
The Central Bank explained that the reason for foreign capital flowing into the stock market is the expected easing of uncertainty surrounding US trade talks and the anticipated improvement in local companies' performance.
