Suzhou Green Loan Balance Breaks 10 Trillion Yuan Milestone

Viewpoint News: On August 13th, the Suzhou Branch of the People's Bank of China announced that by the end of the second quarter in 2025, the balance of green loans in Suzhou exceeded 10 trillion yuan for the first time, reaching 10098 billion yuan, highlighting the key progress made by local authorities in promoting green finance development and transforming the economy and society into a low-carbon model.

The balance increased by 1170 billion yuan compared to the beginning of the year, with a growth rate of 13.11%, setting a new historical high.
