According to sources, the Taobao VIP program covers all users, divided into six levels: copper, silver, gold, platinum, diamond, and black diamond. Platinum members and above can open VIP services for 88 yuan.
Based on the user's loyalty points over the past 12 months, Taobao has automatically assigned an initial VIP level to each user. Users can now open the Taobao app, search for "Taobao VIP," and view their current level and corresponding benefits. The VIP level will be updated quarterly based on the latest loyalty points.
Different VIP levels offer exclusive privileges and services, which are free to use, covering discounts, takeout rights, travel perks, and taxi discounts, etc. As membership levels rise, benefits also escalate.
It's worth noting that in the future, users' consumption on Taobao, Ele.me, and Fei.pin will be rewarded with loyalty points, regardless of whether it's buying things, ordering takeout, or booking a hotel. The more they use, the more they save.
Additionally, 88VIP membership benefits are upgraded comprehensively, adding to the VIP program. In addition to existing benefits, 88VIP members will enjoy enhanced privileges in Ele.me, Fei.pin, and Gaode, etc.
