Tesla Officially Teases Model Y L: Interior Space Exposed

Xinhua Tech News, August 18th. Tesla officially released a new video of its Model Y L vehicle on its Weibo account, previewing the upcoming arrival.

From the video, it can be seen that Model Y L's front and rear design are similar to the current Model Y, with two rows of seats featuring armrests. The second and third rows of seats can be completely flat, forming a through-style cargo platform that can serve as a bed.

According to previous leaks, Model Y L is 4976mm long (an increase of 179mm over the current Model Y), with a wheelbase of 3040mm (an increase of 150mm) and a height of 44mm. It will adopt a 2+2+2 independent six-seat layout.

The starting price of Model Y L is expected to be around 30,000-40,000 yuan (the current Model Y starts at 26.35,000 yuan), mainly competing with the Ideal i8 (33,980 yuan) and the Qiantu M8 pure electric version.

According to media reports, Model Y L has begun mass production and has arrived at domestic dealerships. It is expected that the cars will be showcased in stores starting from late August or early September.
