Tesla's Large Model "On Board" Details Revealed: Voice Assistant Integration with Doubao and DeepSeek

Phoenix Tech News, August 21st. Tesla is currently introducing stronger AI capabilities to its vehicle's voice assistant feature. According to the latest update on Tesla China's official website, the company has clarified that its voice assistant will integrate with external large model technology, including partnerships with ByteDance's Huyou Engine and artificial intelligence company DeepSeek.

The terms and conditions show that Tesla's voice assistant will receive technology support from Huyou Engine's Doubao large model (cloud cuckoo model) and DeepSeek Chat. This means that, with AI interactive capabilities on compatible Tesla vehicles, owners will be able to not only control vehicle functions through voice commands but also engage in casual conversations with the voice assistant, obtaining information, querying weather, etc., achieving a more natural smart cabin interaction experience. Owners can activate this feature via physical buttons or phrases like "Hey, Tesla."

This change marks Tesla's accelerated localization process for its smart services in the Chinese market, through cooperation with leading AI technology companies. However, despite the announcement of technical partners, there is no specific release date yet for when users can truly experience these enhanced AI interactive features.
