Glon Hui August 1st | According to CCTV News, the Thai military will hand over two Cambodian soldiers detained on July 29 at a border crossing. Earlier today, the Thai Second Military Circle announced that it would transfer the two Cambodian soldiers captured in recent border clashes between Thailand and Cambodia, who were seriously injured or suffering from illnesses, to Cambodia, providing preliminary treatment in accordance with international law and humanitarian principles. The Cambodian Defense Ministry previously stated that after the ceasefire agreement took effect at 7:30 am on July 29, Thai forces controlled 21 Cambodian soldiers. Cambodia has received the body of one deceased soldier and is calling for Thailand to quickly repatriate all 20 military personnel.
