Up to ¥3,927 per person! Guangzhou residents affected by floods can apply for emergency assistance, regardless of household registration
Glon News August 7th | According to Xin Kuai Bao, in recent days, extreme weather including heavy rain and local torrential rain has occurred in Guangzhou. As a result, families or individuals who have been affected by the disaster and are facing severe difficulties in their basic living, can apply for emergency assistance at their place of registration or regular residence at the township people's government (street office) without prior household registration.
Guangzhou's emergency assistance for severe difficulties does not require household registration, and applicants must provide their hukou booklet, ID card, valid residence materials, and relevant proof documents. Residents can apply online through the "Bao Hao App" or in person at the township people's government (street office) within 1 month from the day of the disaster.
For emergency assistance for severe difficulties, the standard is generally set at no more than ¥3,927 per person. For pre-emptive emergency assistance, the standard is no more than ¥2,618 per person.
