World's Largest Autonomous Cargo Plane W5000 Makes Debut
Viewpoint News: On August 15th, the world's largest autonomous cargo plane W5000 made its debut, with a wingspan of 22.71 meters, a payload capacity of 5 tons, and a maximum range of 2600 kilometers.
W5000 does not require a cockpit, allowing it to take off, land, and taxi autonomously, only requiring ground monitoring, significantly improving cargo delivery efficiency. Its 65 cubic meter cargo hold can accommodate approximately three small cars. The AI system gives it "X-ray eyes," enabling automatic obstacle avoidance and rapid completion of cargo loading. Through dual-height cruising, W5000 can function as a "low-altitude high-speed train" in short-range markets and engage in segmented relay transportation for long-distance hauls, redefining logistics costs.
