Phoenix News Technology, August 2nd. Yesterday, the 2025 China International Digital Interactive Entertainment Exhibition (ChinaJoy) officially opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Qualcomm (China) has created its sixth "Qualcomm Pavilion" and partnered with operators, phone manufacturers, PC, XR, top game studios, technology companies, publishers, e-commerce companies, and other 75 industry partners to present a summer spectacular that combines cutting-edge technology innovation, trendy game equipment, and immersive digital entertainment experiences.
Global Vice President of Qualcomm, Hou Mingjuan, said at the opening ceremony of the Qualcomm Pavilion: "At this year's Qualcomm exhibition, we will bring over 100 terminal games and more than 50 applications to demonstrate."
The new Qualcomm 8 Supreme Edition brings a second-generation custom high-performance CPU for scenario-intensive heavy-load games and multi-task processing. The Adreno GPU adopts a slice architecture optimized for modern graphics workload, capable of handling complex rendering scenarios with stronger frame rates and image quality.
Combining comprehensive upgrades in performance and hardware technology, the Qualcomm 8 Supreme Edition supports more rich gaming features, including cross-CPU, GPU, and NPU dynamic AI workload management, providing strong AI computing power and AI-assisted gaming features, such as AI-enabled Adreno image motion engine 2.0 and Qualcomm game super-resolution 2.0 technology. Additionally, the Qualcomm Supreme Games integrated real-time hardware acceleration for lighting, global illumination, and other high-end gaming features, balancing quality, frame rate, performance, and energy efficiency.
The Qualcomm Pavilion brings 15 or more XR devices equipped with the Qualcomm platform, covering AR, VR, and MR categories, creating a multi-dimensional immersive interactive experience. The exhibition also features an AR-themed interactive experience activity designed specifically for the 2025 ChinaJoy.
Furthermore, based on the performance boost from the Qualcomm 8 Supreme Edition and the fourth-generation Qualcomm 8s mobile platform, over 30 new Android flagship phones will be showcased at the Qualcomm Pavilion. The event will also simultaneously showcase more than 10 AI PCs equipped with the Qualcomm X series platform, supporting gamers to enjoy mainstream PC games with high-definition graphics and smooth performance.
At this ChinaJoy, Qualcomm has partnered with Xiaomi to bring the latest cross-terminal experience innovations. Based on the platform and technology provided by Qualcomm and its partners, the two companies have jointly created a comprehensive ecosystem covering phones, tablets, earphones, AR glasses, Wi-Fi routers, and car systems, bringing upgrades to office, entertainment, travel, and other scenarios, breaking down digital entertainment boundaries and previewing future smart life forms.
