A19-Platform iPhone 17e to Feature 60Hz Screen: Key Selling Point May Be Most Affordable iPhone

Phoenix Technology News, August 18. Tech blogger @Digital Leisure Station posted that they have obtained some supply chain information about the new iPhone 17e, which is expected to feature a 6.1" OLED screen with a 60Hz low-power display, similar to the 16 model, and will be powered by the A19 platform. The phone will also come with a 12Mp+3D facial recognition camera on the front and a 48Mp camera on the back. The key selling point may still be "the most affordable iPhone."

According to previous reports, the iPhone 17e's exterior design will be similar to that of the 16e, but it will feature an A19 processor, consistent with this year's iPhone 17 series. The current 16e model uses an A18 chip.

For reference, the iPhone 16e phone features a notch screen design and can be selected in black or white, powered by an A18 processor, starting at 128GB storage space for 4,499 yuan.
