Ceo of LuanTu Confirms Two Flagship Car Models - Pursuit L Dubbed "Wuhan Ancient Special", Taisun SUV Targets High-End Market
Phoenix Technology News August 5, According to the CEO of LuanTu Automobile Technology Co., Ltd., Lu Fang, on social media, the previously unknown new car has been spotted by netizens, and these cars are actually LuanTu's two flagship models - LuanTu Pursuit L and LuanTu Taisun (currently codenamed).
The source of this new car's exposure comes from a group of photos taken by car reviewer Chen Zhen at the LuanTu R&D center in Wuhan, featuring a shot of a Lamborghini Urus, LuanTu's new Pursuit model (i.e., Pursuit L), and the all-new full-size SUV codenamed "Taisun", which has sparked hot discussions in the car community.
According to sources, the flagship model "Taisun" is based on LuanTu's Tianyuan intelligent architecture released in April, positioning it as a large-scale six-seat SUV with a length of over 5.1 meters and an axle ratio exceeding 3.1 meters. In terms of smart configuration, Taisun comes standard with Huawei ADS 4.0 intelligent driving system and is equipped with a luxurious sensor combination featuring 192-line lidar + rear solid-state lidar + 4D millimeter-wave radar.
What's worth noting is that Taisun is expected to be priced between 35-50 million yuan, accounting for only 4%-6% of the starting price of the Lamborghini Urus.
Another car model, LuanTu Pursuit L, has also been spotted during road testing. From the exposed photos, it appears that the new car's front face retains the design style of LuanTu's Dream Family, resembling the Lamborghini Urus and earning the nickname "Wuhan Ancient Special" from netizens.
As a mid-to-large-sized sedan, Pursuit L's side silhouette is sleek and elongated, retaining design elements such as hidden door handles and multiple sets of wheel rims. However, the rear section has not been fully exposed.
