China Automobile Association: July Sales of New Energy Vehicles Outstrip Ideal, Concentrated in 15-20,000 Yuan Price Range
Phoenix Net Technology News August 11, according to statistics from the China Automobile Association, from January to July, mainstream price ranges for new energy passenger cars exceeded those of traditional fuel-powered passenger cars.
Specifically, from January to July, traditional fuel-powered passenger cars saw sales mainly concentrated in the 10-15,000 yuan price range, with a cumulative total of 2.44 million units, down 13.3% year-on-year.
From January to July, new energy passenger cars saw sales decline in the 30-40,000 yuan price range, while other price ranges showed positive growth. Currently, sales are still mainly concentrated in the 15-20,000 yuan price range, with a cumulative total of 1.76 million units, up 13.2% year-on-year.
Additionally, from January to July, the top 15 groups in terms of new energy vehicle sales accounted for a cumulative total of 7.82 million units, up 41.1% year-on-year, accounting for 95.1% of new energy vehicle sales, an increase of 1.8 percentage points over last year.
Among them, ZeroRun Automobile saw sales of 272,000 units from January to July, exceeding those of Ideal Automobile (235,000 units) and Xiaopeng Automobile (234,000 units).
