China Slaps Back at US over Sanctions on Chinese Companies, Vows to Protect Their Interests

The US Department of the Treasury has newly sanctioned two Chinese companies for providing convenience for Iran's oil transportation. What does China have to say about this? Mao Ning stated that China consistently and resolutely opposes illegal unilateral sanctions lacking international law basis or UN Security Council authorization, and also urges the US to abandon its erroneous practice of capricious sanctioning.
